Law360 Names Covington’s Media & Entertainment Practice One of Year’s Best

WASHINGTON, DC, January 27, 2015 — Covington was named one of the top 2014 “Media and Entertainment Practice Groups of the Year” by Law360.

Law360 highlighted the practice for its involvement in “the most-talked-about sports media rights deals last year,” including the NFL's Sunday Ticket agreement with DirecTV, Steve Ballmer’s bid for the Los Angeles Clippers, and WWE’s launch of the first 24/7 streaming television network to be available exclusively over the internet.

After reviewing more than 680 submissions, a committee of Law360 editors selected winners for each practice area. Law firms were selected based on the significance, size and complexity of the matters they handled for clients over the past year.
