A year of Vestager

November 5, 2015, Global Competition Review

Johan Ysewyn is quoted in a Global Competition Review article assessing Margrethe Vestager’s first year as European commissioner for competition. According to Ysewyn, “For the first time in quite a long while, [Europe has had] a combination of a commissioner who, I believe, understands the political nuances of competition law, and a director general who actually likes competition law from an administrative point of view. We’ve not had that for quite a while.”
