The EU Artificial Intelligence Act, which entered into force on August 1, 2024, imposes a range of requirements on artificial intelligence (AI) systems that will be relevant to use of AI in medical devices and in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVDs). This webinar will explore the impact of the AI Act on medical devices and IVDs, including an overview of the obligations that will apply to providers and deployers of relevant medical devices/IVDs, and detail on the timelines for compliance with the new rules.
