Covington Celebrates Pride

Covington continued its celebration of LGBT+ Pride Month with events in Washington and San Francisco. The firm’s LGBT+ Affinity Group hosted an ice cream social on the roof of its Washington office for members and allies of the firm’s LGBT+ community. The group’s chair, Stefanie Doebler, welcomed the attendees and reinforced the firm’s support for diversity and inclusion. Affinity group members also gathered in the San Francisco office for a reception. The firm’s Diversity Initiatives Committee Co-chair, Catharina Min, addressed the attendees. 

The DC and San Francisco events mark the end of the firm’s celebration of Pride Month which has been supported by the firm’s #CovHasPride campaign. The campaign has proudly featured spotlights on several of Covington's LGBT+ lawyers including associates Lindsay Barnhart, and Christopher Hanson. In addition, the campaign featured a spotlight on Bill Collins and Catherine Dargan, a member of the firm's Management Committee and an ally of the LGBT+ community.
