Alaina Whitt is an associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office, focusing on intellectual property litigation with an emphasis on litigation involving pharmaceutical and biological patents.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Whitt served as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond T. Chen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Ms. Whitt also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gloria M. Navarro of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. While clerking for Judge Navarro, Ms. Whitt served on the District of Nevada Intellectual Property Subcommittee, which was charged with reviewing and revising the Patent Local Rules. Before attending law school, Ms. Whitt worked as a chemist for a global agriculture and food ingredients corporation.
