Nitin Subhedar is a first-chair trial lawyer who has worked on a wide variety of intellectual property matters, with a particular emphasis on patent and trade secret disputes.
Nitin holds a B.S. in electrical engineering, is licensed to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office, and has handled cases across a broad array of technologies—including lithium-ion battery cells and manufacturing, semiconductor devices and circuits, semiconductor fabrication and packaging, consumer electronics, wireless devices and networks, computer systems and architecture, software, and telecommunications. He has represented companies including SK hynix, Samsung Electronics, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Seagate Technologies, UMC, Atmel Corporation, Nokia and Uber, and has litigated in federal district courts across the country, the U.S. International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Nitin has developed a long track-record of crafting winning arguments and strategies, drawing upon his technical background, deep litigation experience, and effective courtroom skills to achieve great results for his clients both before and at trial. He has also counseled a number of clients on strategies for enforcing or defending against broad patent portfolios, and for reaching negotiated resolutions of patent disputes before litigation is initiated.
