Jamie A. Heine practices in the Litigation and Financial Institutions groups, where she defends clients in high-stakes civil lawsuits and helps clients navigate the increasingly-complicated web of financial regulation.

Ms. Heine represents financial institutions in complex civil litigation, and advises financial and non-financial institutions on a range of financial regulatory and enforcement matters.

She has experience advising clients on consumer protection issues, incentive-based executive compensation under the Dodd-Frank Act, and permissible activities under federal banking laws, among other issues. She also represents companies in government investigations.

  • Represents a large bank in class actions involving antitrust and commodities fraud claims relating to alleged manipulation of financial benchmarks, including foreign currency exchange benchmarks and ISDAFIX®.
  • Represents companies in Federal Trade Commission investigations relating to consumer protection practices.
  • Represents financial institutions with respect to compliance with the Dodd-Frank Act and other new financial regulation.
  • Represents financial and non-financial companies with respect to compliance with consumer protection and privacy regulations.

Pro Bono

  • Ms. Heine balances her Litigation and Financial Institutions work with a wide variety of pro bono work, ranging from Federal clemency issues to regulation of NGOs in foreign countries.
