Covington Earns Gold Standard Certification from Women In Law Empowerment Forum

WASHINGTON, DC, July 11, 2013 — For the third consecutive year, Covington & Burling has received a Gold Standard Certification from the Women In Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF), a leading organization dedicated to assisting women in law to assume leadership roles in private law firms, corporate legal departments, and the legal community at large.

The certification designates firms that have integrated women in top leadership positions. WILEF's Gold Standard Certification indicates that women represent a meaningful percentage of a firm’s equity partners, highest leadership positions, governance and compensation committees, and most highly compensated partners.
