Arlo Devlin-Brown is quoted in a Law360 article regarding the effect of the removal of Preet Bharara from his position as U.S. Attorney General of the Southern District of New York on the independence of the Office. "[Bharara] wasn’t afraid of losing, and I think that made a big difference and inspired confidence in the prosecutors who worked for him," says Devlin-Brown. “If as a prosecutor, if you’re worried about hurting your own standing if you don’t obtain a guilty verdict, that may make you hesitant in pursuing cases."
