Please join us for a discussion on the 2022 ICSID Amendment Rules presented as part of China Arbitration Week hosted by CIETAC.

On March 21, 2022, member states of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) have approved a comprehensive set of amendments to ICSID’s rules for resolving disputes between foreign investors and their host States. The new rules and regulations came into effect on July 1, 2022. Tremendous efforts were exerted during the five-year consultation period in order to modernize the rules to enhance efficiency and legitimacy of the proceedings.

In this webinar, key aspects of the amendments, including new stand-alone rules on mediation and fact-finding procedure, will be discussed.
