#CovBlackHistory Spotlight Series: Aaron Lewis

February 22, 2019

We recently sat down with Aaron Lewis for a conversation about diversity efforts in the legal industry. Mr. Lewis discusses the importance of the arc of underrepresented minorities in the legal profession and how young lawyers of color benefit from those who came before them.

Mr. Lewis is a partner in Covington's White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice Group. He represents businesses, boards of directors, and individuals in sensitive, high-stakes government investigations, internal investigations, and regulatory enforcement matters. Mr. Lewis returned to Covington in 2015 after six years of service in the Department of Justice (DOJ), first as Counsel to Attorney General Eric Holder in Washington, and later as an Assistant United States Attorney in Los Angeles.
