Covington Hosts Dinner Discussion for Columbia and NYU LGBT+ Student Groups on the Fight for Transgender Rights

March 12, 2018

On March 6, Covington lawyers from the Washington and New York offices hosted a casual dinner for the Columbia and NYU Law School LGBT+ Affinity Groups. In addition to dinner and conversation, Christopher Hanson and Pete Komorowski engaged the students in a discussion of Covington's work as co-counsel with the ACLU to challenge the Trump Administration's attempts to prevent transgender Americans from enlisting and serving in the armed forces. Stefanie Doebler, Alex Clark, and Josh Picker also attended and spoke about Covington's commitment to inclusion, diversity, and impactful pro bono work.
