LCLD Selects Three Covington Lawyers for Diversity Programs

Covington partner Aaron Lewis has been selected for this year’s Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program. Based in the Los Angeles office, Aaron focuses his practice on white collar defense and investigations. The LCLD Fellows Program, which has trained more than 800 mid-career lawyers since 2011, is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives, connecting high-potential lawyers from preeminent organizations for a year-long professional development series. The program is designed to build relationships and leadership skills that can be passed down to future generations of leaders in the legal profession.
Rani Gupta, an associate in Covington’s Palo Alto office has been selected for this year’s LCLD Pathfinder Program. Targeted to diverse, high-potential lawyers with three to five years of experience, the Pathfinder Program offers participants the opportunity to enhance their leadership and professional networking skills. Over the course of a year, the program provides professional development opportunities with the three core goals of leadership, personal brand growth, and relationship building.
“I appreciate the opportunity to participate in the Pathfinders program and its goal of building a more diverse and inclusive legal profession,” said Rani.
Anne Lee, Hiring Partner and partner in the firm’s Antitrust practice, will serve as a program facilitator to guide and mentor Rani and Jenny through the Pathfinder Program. Anne was a 2016 LCLD Fellow.
