Jasmine Wang represents government contractors on complex regulatory matters at all stages of the public procurement process. Her multi-faceted practice encompasses numerous industries, where she regularly provides strategic guidance to public and private sector clients on compliance, enforcement, and the risks associated with various regulatory regimes.
Jasmine regularly advises government contractors and private equity firms in transactional matters, from coordinating due diligence processes in large scale M&A transactions involving government contracts to assisting with the negotiation of purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and the preparation of name-change and novation packages. Jasmine also assists with a variety of regulatory aspects of M&A activity, including assessing for material risks when preparing businesses for sale, navigating pre- and post-closing regulatory approvals, and small business issues.
In addition, Jasmine regularly counsels companies on the latest legislative, litigation, and regulatory developments and how to mitigate and understand risks in interactions with government agencies, higher and lower-tier contractors, grant recipients, and vendors. She also regularly advises government contractors on navigating the life cycle of the public procurement process, the logistics of contract negotiation, formation, and administration, and how to manage day-to-day government contracts compliance and flow-down requirements.
Jasmine’s practice also focuses on issues at the intersection of government contracts and employment law, where she counsels government contractors on compliance and enforcement questions arising from the lawful design and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion processes and practices, requirements imposed by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and contractor obligations under the Davis-Bacon Act and CHIPS Act.
Before joining the firm, Jasmine clerked for The Honorable Andrew S. Hanen in the Southern District of Texas. She maintains an active pro bono practice focused on civil rights and reproductive justice.
