Robyn Ellis is a corporate associate based in Covington’s London office.

Ms. Ellis advises clients on a broad range of commercial and transactional matters, including IPO’s, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate governance and capital market transactions across a range of industries. She has particular expertise in advising on transactions in the life sciences and technology industries.

Ms. Ellis has also gained valuable in-house experience while on secondment at a global pharmaceutical company.

  • Advising Ergomed plc, an international clinical research business, on its flotation on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, an associated fundraising and its simultaneous acquisition of PrimeVigilance Limited, a leading provider of pharmacovigilance and medical information services.
  • Advising Consort Medical plc, listed on the London Main Market, in relation to its £98.9 million rights issue in connection with its £230 million acquisition of Aesica Holdco Limited.
  • Advising Rightster Group plc, an AIM-listed cloud-based global video distribution and monetisation network, on the acquisition of Viral Management Limited, the proposed acquisition of Base79 Limited and the placing of new shares by Cenkos to raise £42 million for the company.
  • Advising Merck & Co., Inc. on the global post-merger integration of Schering-Plough Corporation.
  • Advising a leader in global sports-entertainment on commercial and online matters.
  • Assisting Bacardi Limited in relation to the negotiation and implementation of a global working capital syndicated multicurrency loan facility, to be available from 2013 onwards.

  • Providing advice to Privacy International, a charity that defends and promotes the right to privacy across the world.
  • Providing advice to SolarAid, a charity focused on the development of renewable energy technologies in Africa and South America.
