Ruixue Ran is quoted in Law360 regarding China’s recently released draft legislation to revise the nation’s patent law. The changes, which attorneys say are aimed at enhancing patent owners' rights, are headlined by a proposal to increase the amount of damages available in certain circumstances. Ms. Ran says, “If they could get bigger damages compensation, that could be good incentive to initiate patent cases in China to protect their interests in China.”
