Covington Wins Chambers Award for Excellence in International Trade

WASHINGTON—Chambers USA has selected Covington for its 2016 Award for Excellence in International Trade.
The Award for Excellence in International Trade is presented at Chambers USA’s annual awards dinner and awarded to one law firm. The award coincides with the release of the Chambers USA 2016 guidebook, in which Covington received a top-tier ranking nationally in various trade and trade-related areas, including the International Trade, International Trade: CFIUS Experts, and International Trade: Intellectual Property (Section 337) categories.
Chambers described Covington’s “dominant international trade group” as being “at the forefront of the market and… renowned for its outstanding work across CFIUS, export controls, economic sanctions, trade remedies and policy issues.” Chambers also highlighted the group’s “excellent client service and comprehensive understanding of the nuances in trade law.”
Along with the firm rankings, 10 Covington lawyers were ranked in various international trade categories.
