Kimberly McNish is a litigation associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Ms. McNish’s practice focuses on insurance coverage litigation and other complex commercial disputes.  Ms. McNish has represented numerous clients in federal and state courts, before international arbitration panels, and in connection with government investigations.  Ms. McNish also frequently advises policyholders on matters relating to coverage, policy placements and renewals, insurer insolvency, and related legislation.

  • Represented pharmaceutical company in London arbitrations resulting in recovery of insurance coverage for mass tort liabilities and associated fees and costs.
  • Represented Class I railroad in London arbitration settling on highly favorable terms claims relating to losses arising from train derailment and chemical release.
  • Represented pharmaceutical companies in Congressional and related inquiries concerning prescription drugs.
  • Represented chemicals and materials company in settling dispute with insurers regarding coverage for lead paint related claims.
  • Represented leading trading company in fraud and contract dispute.

Pro Bono

  • Represented Iranian national in securing protection under the Convention Against Torture and overturning Board of Immigration Appeals decision in Ghaziaskar v. United States, No. 05-4060 (3d Cir.).
  • Represented numerous pro bono clients in connection with immigration, criminal, and family law claims and proceedings.
