Nedal Jounaidi’s practice focuses on corporate, project development and finance transactions. He relocated from the London office to the Dubai office in February 2018.   • Represented ENGIE in its acquisition of FENIX International, a leader off-grid energy in Africa.
  • Represented MacKinnon, Bennett & Company (MKB), ENGIE Rassembleurs d’Energies and KawiSafi Ventures in their Series C investment in BBOXX, a leading global off-grid solar company.
  • Represented a Saudi developer on the development and financing of a 50 MW solar plant in Vietnam.
  • Represented a Saudi developer in connection with the development of a 1,200 MW coal-fired plant in Vietnam.
  • Represented a bidder on the development and financing of a 800 MW solar park in Morocco.
  • Represented a leading Saudi developer and operator of power generation and water desalination plants in connection with its U.S. $820 million bond issue.
  • Represented the winning bidder on the development and financing of three solar parks in Morocco.
  • Represented the project company, UPC Renewables S.A. on the development and financing of a MW 120 wind farm in Jbel Sendouq, Tangiers-Tetuan Wilaya, Morocco.
  • Researched and drafted legal analyses for the Moroccan Government for its bill on feed-in tariffs for electricity produced from renewable energy sources.
  • Advised Shell on the renewal of an exclusive license to prospect for offshore liquid hydrocarbons.
  • Advised ENI on the French regulatory regime in relation to the supply of natural gas and electricity to customers.
