Anna Han is an associate in the Litigation and Patent Litigation groups. She represents a variety of clients in high-stakes patent litigation and other commercial disputes and advises and assists clients in developing effective domestic and international document management policies. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Han served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jon P. McCalla of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.

  • Representing major pharmaceutical companies in Hatch-Waxman litigation against several generic drug manufacturers.
  • Representing a major pharmaceutical distributor in multi-district litigation.
  • Advising multi-national companies regarding best practices in e-discovery, including data preservation and collection measures.
  • Conducting freedom-to-operate, patent validity, and patentability investigations for acquisitions of major pharmaceutical candidates.
  • Represented small pharmaceutical company in Hatch-Waxman litigation involving its sole product, a combination therapy used to maintain pupil size during cataract surgery or intraocular lens replacement and reduce postoperative pain.
  • Represented a multi-national company in district court litigation related to utility and design patents and trademarks for off-the-road tires.
  • Represented a pioneer pharmaceutical company in Hatch-Waxman litigation involving a topical dermatology drug.

  • Representation of prisoners in federal class action litigation relating to unconstitutional prison conditions.
