Jason G. Everett

Special Counsel

Jason Everett provides regulatory and legislative advice and advocacy to clients in a range of industries, including technology and life sciences. He has particular expertise in matters involving intellectual property (including patents, copyright, and trademark) antitrust, and information technology.

Mr. Everett has held numerous positions on Capitol Hill. Most recently, he served as Democratic Deputy Chief Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary. In this role, he advised the Ranking Member on legislative matters within the intellectual property and crime subcommittee jurisdictions on the Judiciary Committee. He was responsible for assisting the Ranking Member in preparation of legislation, Committee hearings, and markups, as well as staffing hearings and markups.
