Lila Abed, a non-lawyer, is an international public policy advisor in the firm’s Public Policy Practice Group.

Ms. Abed has broad experience related to governmental affairs, international trade, international law, and legislative affairs.

Ms. Abed's work focuses primarily on Latin American political, social, business, and economic issues. She has assisted a number of clients in providing international strategic advice, risk assessment, and consulting services for global companies with investments in Latin America or interest in expanding their operations in the region. She advises clients on how to navigate and effectively respond to challenging political, regulatory, and legislative challenges. In so doing, she works closely with different firm practices such as food and drug, health care, energy, anti-corruption/FCPA, international trade, international arbitration, and others.
