Matt Dunn's practice focuses on white collar defense and litigation, with a particular emphasis on representing healthcare companies. He has extensive experience representing companies in federal and state criminal and civil investigations by the Department of Justice and other enforcement agencies. His complementary litigation practice focuses on defending companies in government-facing litigation, such as cases arising under the False Claims Act and state consumer fraud laws, and follow-on litigation arising from government investigations. Matt received his law degree from Columbia Law School, his master of science degree from Troy University, and his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Matt was a captain in the United States Air Force.

- Won motion to dismiss and Third Circuit affirmance for Genentech in False Claims Act lawsuit. United States ex rel. Petratos v. Genentech, Inc., et al. (D.N.J. Oct. 29, 2015) (Third Circuit May 1, 2017).
- Represent numerous pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in ongoing criminal and civil investigations concerning sales and marketing practices.
- Represent several healthcare companies in federal and state false claims act litigation concerning sales and marketing practices, FDA post-marketing reporting, and other reimbursement-related issues.
Won motion to dismiss for McKesson Provider Technologies in False Claims Act case. United States ex rel. Williams v. McKesson Provider Technologies, et al. (N.D. Tex. Mar. 27, 2015).

Counsel to major healthcare company in an investigation by the Department of Justice concerning alleged violations of the False Claims Act due to discounting practices.

Counsel to two of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the world in Department of Justice investigations relating to alleged off-label promotion.

Counsel to a Fortune 500 company in False Claims Act litigation relating to allegedly inadequate regulatory disclosures.

Counsel to a Fortune 25 company in False Claims Act litigation.

Represented a pharmaceutical company in a Congressional inquiry concerning compound drugs and pricing issues.

Pro Bono	§ 1983 action against the city of Covington, Louisiana and members of its police department on behalf of a plaintiff who was wrongfully convicted and exonerated by DNA evidence; obtained over $2 million in total recovery in settlement of this action and related state court litigation. § 1983 action against police and prosecutors in Washington Parish, Louisiana arising out of wrongful conviction and Brady violations. Counsel to a minor in asylum proceedings. Successfully represented a veteran in pursuing disability-based compensation.
