Latinvex Names Covington a Top International Law Firm in Latin America

WASHINGTON, DC, August 25, 2014 — Covington & Burling has been named to Latinvex’s “Legal 50,” a list of top international law firms doing work in Latin America. The firm ranked seventh among the top 15 firms doing international arbitration work in Latin America and 27th overall.

Latinvex evaluated more than 100 international law firms and selected the top 50 based on a combination of factors, including value, prominence and scope of work, references among clients, size of Latin America practice and presence in Latin America.

Covington’s Latin America practice handles complex assignments ranging from arbitration and litigation, to private equity investments in emerging companies, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory and commercial issues, investigations and sanctions compliance, tax, and intellectual property concerns.
