Skye Lynn Perryman is a litigator with a wide range of experience in product liability litigation, advertising litigation, intellectual property, and administrative law. Ms. Perryman also has advised and assisted clients in Congressional and administrative investigations.
Ms. Perryman defends clients in product liability and deceptive advertising cases in federal and state courts throughout the country. She also has significant experience in litigation against the federal government. As part of her litigation practice, Ms. Perryman is a leading member of Covington’s E-Discovery Practice Group. She regularly resolves complicated discovery issues, advises Fortune 500 companies on legacy backup tape obligations and document retention practices, and speaks to nationwide audiences on a wide variety of cutting-edge e-discovery topics.
In addition, Ms. Perryman maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented civil rights plaintiffs, indigent criminal defendants, and individuals detained at Guantanamo Bay. Ms. Perryman serves on Covington's Public Service Committee and is Chair of Covington’s Associate Advisory Committee.

- Serves as national counsel to pharmaceutical corporation in defending nationwide product liability litigation.
- Defense of food corporation in deceptive advertising litigation brought by Federal Trade Commission.
- Advised National Football League, Solazyme, Freedom Communications, Wyeth, and numerous other entities with regard to e-discovery and retention issues.
- Handled the e-discovery component and discovery issues in high stakes complex litigation and investigations.
- Represented Multimedia Games in state and federal litigation concerning antitrust, racketeering, and other claims.
