Shannon Nestor is an associate in the firm's intellectual property and litigation practice groups.  Her intellectual property practice focuses on trademark, antitrust, and Internet-related matters, and she has represented clients at the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.  Other matters handled by Ms. Nestor include pharmaceutical government investigations, commercial antitrust, and consumer protection matters. 

Representative Matters

  • Successfully secured the transfer of a domain name that infringed on marks of a client through the World Intellectual Property Organization Arbitration and Mediation Center.
  • Assisted in defense of a pharmaceutical industry client in connection with a government investigation into off-label promotion of prescription drugs.
  • Defended a financial services organization in trademark cancellation and opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, resulting in dismissal of the proceedings.

Pro Bono
