Our antitrust attorneys have extensive experience handling state law antitrust, consumer protection and unfair competition claims, matters involving regulated industries, and issues arising from in the context of intellectual property licensing and enforcement and industry standard-setting activities and interoperability. Our practice represents clients from a wide range of industries across a spectrum of issues, with particular focus on technology, life sciences and financial services.
We have handled matters related to the federal Sherman and Robinson-Patman Acts, California's Cartwright Act, and other state antitrust and unfair competition regulations. Our antitrust attorneys have been recognized in Chambers & Partners (2004, 2005, and 2006) and The Best Lawyers in America (2007).
Recent representations include:
- Bank of America in nationwide class actions involving ATM and credit card interchange fees.
- Wells Fargo Bank in various consumer class actions involving disclosures, fees and other banking practices.
- National Football League in an antitrust suit involving sports equipment.
- Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals in antitrust and unfair competition litigation involving authorized generic pharmaceuticals.
