Saurabh Anand

Saurabh Anand is an associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office.  Mr. Anand advises aerospace, pharmaceutical, and medical device clients on a range of regulatory, government contract, and intellectual property issues.  He also has experience representing clients in all stages of patent litigation.

Representative Matters

• Advised aerospace propulsion company on cooperative agreements, Bayh-Dole provisions, and intellectual property strategy.
• Advised defense contractor evaluating location of manufacturing facility on provisions of Buy American Act, applicable trade-agreements, and FAR provisions.
• Provided FDA regulatory and government contracts advice in connection with transaction involving medical device company. 
• Represented major aerospace contractor in internal investigation in conjunction with government audits.
• Advised life sciences companies on the impact of orphan regulations.
• Represented multinational pharmaceutical company in patent litigation and hearing before the ITC.
• Represented semiconductor device company in patent litigation, including hearings in district court and the ITC.
