Ron Dove is a member of the general litigation, pharmaceutical litigation & investigations, and intellectual property practice groups, specializing in copyright, trademark, and pharmaceutical litigation and advice. Mr. Dove has advised and litigated cases for clients in the sports, media, publishing, luxury goods and pharmaceutical industries. Many of the cases that Mr. Dove has litigated have involved developing and implementing a national strategy that has required prosecuting or defending similar claims against different parties in multiple courts across the United States. Mr. Dove has presented and co-authored numerous articles on copyright and trademark matters, with particular emphasis on strategies for combating the importation and sale of counterfeit and gray market goods.

- Pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline in multiple state and class actions involving drug pricing and reimbursement issues.
- Luxury goods makers Montblanc and Davidoff in trademark infringement litigation resulting in injunctive relief against unauthorized sellers of imported gray market goods.
- The National Football League in combating the unauthorized retransmission and public performance of NFL game telecasts via satellite and over the internet.
- The Public Broadcasting Service in negotiations and administrative proceedings relating to the distribution of statutory copyright royalties collected by the United States Copyright Office.
- The Washington National Cathedral in a lawsuit enjoining a major movie studio from its unauthorized use of a Cathedral sculpture in a popular feature film.
