Patrick Sigmon is a tax associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Mr. Sigmon is admitted to the New York Bar.  He is currently not admitted in the District of Columbia but is supervised by the principals of the firm.

• Advising a national media company in the acquisition of 100% of the common equity of a pre-existing joint venture.
• Advising a consortium of private investors in the acquisition of a partnership engaged in a commodities trading business.
• Advising a multinational asset management company in the structuring and implementation of a global profits interest equity compensation plan.
• Advising real estate investment trusts and a not-for-profit industry self-regulatory organization in seeking private letter rulings from the Internal Revenue Service.
• Advising issuers of equity and debt securities in public and private placements.
• Advising major multinational financial institutions in the creation and marketing of financial products to retail investors.
