We handle a wide range of intellectual property matters across the United States and internationally, including patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, privacy, and anti-piracy disputes. We represent and advise clients with interests in diverse technologies and industries, including software, information technology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, chemicals, consumer products, media, and business methods.
Our intellectual property litigation practice starts with experienced trial lawyers who know how to prepare a case for trial and have successfully tried patent infringement, trademark, trade-secret, and other important commercial cases to verdicts before judges and juries. We routinely draw on Covington’s strengths in related substantive areas of the law, including antitrust, food and drug, communications, and technology regulation. Our breadth and depth of experience allow us to handle intellectual property disputes in an efficient and effective manner.
