Covington represents clients in pre-litigation counseling, trial and appellate litigation, and alternative dispute resolution in patent cases throughout the United States and abroad. Our patent litigators are experienced and expert. We draw on our extensive regulatory, litigation, media & communications, life sciences, and antitrust expertise. We represent and advise clients with interests in a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, computer and electronics, software and business methods, telecommunications, and financial services.
Our patent litigation practice starts with top-notch trial lawyers who know how to prepare a case for trial and who have tried patent infringement and other important commercial cases to verdicts before judges and juries.
We solve our clients’ hardest litigation problems not just by winning at trial, but also by winning before trial through the use of dispositive motions and alternative dispute resolution.
Our depth of experience and breadth of resources allows us to handle these matters in a cost-effective manner, with lean staffing and cross-office collaboration leading to efficient and complete coverage.
