Melissa Whittingham

Melissa Whittingham is an associate in the firm’s Food and Drug practice group.  She advises clients on a variety of regulatory matters involving the Food and Drug Administration, including issues related to drugs, devices, foods, and tobacco.

Representative Matters

• Advised tobacco manufacturers regarding premarket pathways for new tobacco products.
• Assisted pharmaceutical companies in complying with FDA regulations governing prescription drug marketing and advertising practices.
• Representation of a major pharmaceutical company in government investigation.
• Drafted citizen petition to FDA on behalf of tobacco manufacturer.
• Advised dietary supplement company regarding labeling and product claims.
