Matthew O'Connor is a partner in the Litigation and White Collar Defense & Investigations practice groups and is resident in the firm’s Washington Office.

Mr. O'Connor has participated in all aspects of the white collar defense practice, with a particular emphasis representing pharmaceutical companies and executives in internal investigations and broad-ranging federal and state civil and criminal investigations.  He also has extensive experience in class action litigation arising from governmental investigations and has litigated the full range of commercial disputes before federal and state courts throughout the country.  Mr. O’Connor advises pharmaceutical companies on sales and marketing compliance practices and counsels clients on issues related to electronic discovery.  Mr. O'Connor has significant background in complex financial and accounting matters, having previously served as general counsel of a corporate valuation and litigation consulting firm and as a senior consultant at a strategy consultancy.
