Michael Greenberg has handled a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters with a primary focus on insurance coverage. He has represented policyholders in disputes concerning coverage for a variety of first party and third party claims, including property damage and business interruption insurance, professional liability coverage, multi-site environmental liabilities, and asbestos claims that often involve hundreds of insurance policies. Mr. Greenberg has significant experience in handling claims involving the unusual problems encountered in litigation against Lloyds of London and insurance companies doing business in the London insurance market. He also counsels clients on ways to improve their insurance programs.

- Represented large banks in a variety of cases involving professional liability, general liability, trustee liability, and fidelity bond issues.
- Represented a major oil and gas company facing hundreds of millions of dollars in environmental liabilities in its successful efforts to obtain insurance coverage.
- Represented a California utility with more than sixty environmental sites in issue in its claims against a multitude of insurers, focusing on London coverage issues.
- Represented a large pharmaceutical company with millions of dollars in environmental liabilities in coverage litigation.
