Matthew Connolly is a civil litigator specializing in white collar defense and investigations, federal energy regulation, and election law.  Mr. Connolly has handled a variety of matters before regulatory agencies and courts.  In addition, Mr. Connolly provides compliance advice to a variety of clients on energy and political law matters.

Representative Matters

  • Represent major railroad company in proceedings before the Surface Transportation Board.
  • Represent energy clients in enforcement proceedings involving allegations of market manipulation before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
  • Represent renewable energy company in Congressional investigation before House Committee on Oversight & Government Reform.
  • Counsel clients on compliance with federal and state election and pay-to-play laws.
  • Represented Fortune 500 company in connection with government investigation of banking practices.
