Louise Nash is a partner in Covington's London office, which she joined in 1996.
Ms. Nash is an English solicitor with a wide ranging practice, including mergers and acquisitions (both public and private), securities work, venture capital and private equity and joint ventures. Her practice is international, with virtually all transactions upon which she advises having a cross-border dimension. As such, she has extensive experience of dealing with the challenges presented by cross-border projects. She has particular experience in the life science and hi-tech sectors and in advising on transactions with an intellectual property element.

- The borrower in connection with a €357 million multi-currency, secured facility made available by Fortis Bank S.A./N.V., the collateral for which was located in the United States, Canada, England, Germany, and Singapore.
- SR One Limited, the venture capital arm of GlaxoSmithKline, as lead investor in the Series C funding round for Addex Pharmaceuticals SA, a Swiss biotech company.
- A US-based investor in its US$200 million investment in connection with a US$436 million private equity financing by a Cayman Island start-up venture formed to acquire 450 MHz telecommunications licenses in Europe and to build and operate next generation digital wireless telecommunications systems on this portion of the radio spectrum.
- Vantage Point Venture Partners on its investment in a Series A funding round in Solar Century Limited, the UK’s leading photovoltaic supplier.
- Giorgio Armani S.p.A on a cross-border acquisition and joint venture and on related licensing and franchising arrangements.
- Giorgio Armani S.p.A. on its collaboration with a listed Dubai property company for the development of a worldwide chain of Armani hotels and resorts.
