Laurie-Anne Grelier

Laurie-Anne Grelier assists international companies with navigating complex areas of European competition law, including cartel investigations, the clearance of mergers, the structuring of distribution, collaborative and other commercial arrangements, and issues related to abuse of dominant position.  Ms. Grelier also assists companies in litigation before the European Courts, as well as with state aid and trade matters.

Representative Matters

• Assisting a major electronics producer in connection with an EU investigation into alleged collusion.
• Assisting a major auto parts supplier in the context of investigation by competition authorities into alleged collusion.
• Obtaining EU merger clearance for a major Asian electronics producer in connection with the restructuring of certain business activities.
• Obtaining merger clearance for AstraZeneca in the EU and other jurisdictions in connection with its diabetes alliance with Bristol-Myers Squibb for the operation of BMS’ Amylin diabetes business.
• Representing Samsung SDI in its appeal against the EU Commission’s CRT cartel decision.
• Advising a leading global chemicals producer in connection with potential issues under Article 101 TFEU.
• Advising clients in the automotive, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, fashion, and medical device sectors on various aspects of their European distribution networks and other commercial and collaborative arrangements.
