Julia Post is an associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office, where she is a member of the Litigation and Food and Drug practice groups.  Her practice consists primarily of representing clients in Hatch-Waxman patent litigation and providing advice to clients on a variety of federal and state regulatory matters relating to drugs and devices.

Representative Matters

  • Representation of a major pharmaceutical company in Hatch-Waxman litigation against generic drug manufacturers concerning oral formulations used to treat ulcerative colitis.
  • Representation of a pharmaceutical company in an ANDA case concerning a topical formulation used to treat actinic keratosis.
  • Advised major pharmaceutical company regarding state laws governing the marketing of medical devices directly to consumers.
  • Advised trade association regarding proposed legislative changes to the FDCA.
  • Advised pharmaceutical company regarding state laws and regulations governing generic drug substitution.
