Jason Ma's practice focuses on complex food and drug regulatory compliance matters, as well as prosecution, licensing, and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
Before starting his legal career in 1992, Mr. Ma practiced as a medical doctor for four years in a city hospital in Guangzhou, China, where he performed many operations to remove head and neck tumors.
Mr. Ma has advised numerous clients on food & drug regulatory compliance matters. He has also advised clients on registration, importation, manufacture and distribution of drugs, clinical trials and other drug-related regulatory matters in China. In addition to his FDA practice, Mr. Ma advises clients on the prosecution, licensing and enforcement of intellectual property rights and technology transfer and licensing in China.
