Consistent with the firm’s integrated and coordinated approach to client service, Mr. Blake has worked on major deals, litigation, rulemakings and legislative matters, domestically and internationally, often in connection with the firm’s other communications and media lawyers -- Mace Rosenstein (broadcasting and new media), Jennifer Johnson (broadcasting, digital and new media), Steve Weiswasser (content, programming and First Amendment), and Ellen Goodman (spectrum, digital, new technologies, rights management and public broadcasting). He also works closely with the firm’s (1) deal lawyers who specialize in communications and new media transactions -- Ralph Voltmer, Eric Greenberg and Christine Enemark, (2) appellate and trial lawyers who specialize in communications and media-related litigation -- Bob Long, Lanny Breuer and Will Phillips, (3) intellectual property lawyers who handle the IP needs of the firm’s communications and media clients -- Ellen Goodman, Kathleen Gallagher-Duff and Marie Lavalleye, (4) the firm's Internet/privacy -- Erin Egan, Yaron Dori and Tim Jucovy, (5) advertising lawyers -- Erin Egan and Ellen Goodman, and (6) the firm’s sports lawyers -- Gregg Levy, Bruce Wilson, Doug Gibson and Peter Zern. Covington’s communications and new media practices have recently been augmented by the addition of Yaron Dori who is engaged in the firm’s telecommunications and privacy practices.
