Jihad Beauchman is an associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office with a litigation practice that spans the sports industry, white collar defense and investigations, intellectual property, and electronics and technology practice groups.  He assists in the representation of many of the firm’s sports clients, including the National Football League, the National Hockey League, the Big East Conference, the United States Olympic Committee, and the United States Golf Association.

Mr. Beauchman previously held positions with the National Football League, the Boston Celtics, and the San Francisco 49ers.

Representative Matters

  • Representation of Wells Fargo in connection with a Federal Reserve Board investigation and consent order with respect to Wells Fargo Financial sales personnel conduct in the origination of consumer mortgage loans.
  • Representation of a Fortune 500 company in connection with an internal investigation of accounting practices and policy.
  • Advising professional sports leagues in transactional matters.

Pro Bono

  • Representation of an Independent Advisory Committee, chaired by former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue, in connection with its examination and recommendations regarding the governance of the US Olympic Committee.
  • Representation of a major civil rights organization in a race discrimination suit against a restaurant.
