Gary Feldon is a litigation associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office. Mr. Feldon represents clients in arbitration and administrative, trial, and appellate litigation in a variety of substantive areas. His practice focuses on representing policyholders in insurance litigation with an additional focus on transportation litigation.
Representative Matters
- Representation of Class I railroad in international insurance coverage arbitration.
- Representation of corporate client in trial and appellate proceedings in state and federal courts in connection with antitrust and business tort claims.
- Representation of Class I railroad in proceedings before the Surface Transportation Board.
Honors and Rankings
- 2006 Deak Writing Award for the best student-written international law article published in a student-edited law journal.
- 2005-2006 Richard W. Smith, Jr. Founder’s Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing for the best comment published in the Emory International Law Review.
Pro Bono
- Submitted amicus briefs on behalf of clients in the United States Supreme Court and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
- Successfully represented low-income DC residents in a variety of civil matters through the Neighborhood Legal Services Program, including winning a substantial trial verdict in the D.C. Superior Court and obtaining summary judgment on behalf of a tenant in landlord-tenant proceedings.
- Appellate representation of a criminal defendant before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
