Eric Sandberg-Zakian is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and International Practice Groups.
Mr. Sandberg-Zakian has represented and advised clients in investigations by or matters before the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the U.S. State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), the U.S. Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), and the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC). He has experience in matters arising under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), and the Iran Sanctions Act (ISA). He has also represented clients in international arbitration before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Sandberg-Zakian maintains an active pro bono practice, and has helped pro bono clients with matters before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Congress, and U.S. Supreme Court.
