Ellen Corenswet is a co-chair of Covington’s Corporate Group and resides in the New York office. Her practice has been focused on representing private and public life sciences, technology and other emerging growth companies, as well as venture capital firms and investment banking firms, for over 30 years. Ms. Corenswet's practice includes structuring of early stage companies, advising on equity plans, intellectual property issues and general corporate and commercial matters, venture capital financings, private placements, IPOs and follow-on offerings, PIPE financings, M&A transactions, and strategic alliances. Ms. Corenswet has experience in a number of industries, including biotechnology, media and new media, medical devices, software, communications, web-based financial services and other Internet services, and clean technology. Ms. Corenswet has practiced in Northern California, Boston, and New York and brings together a broad perspective and network from these three life sciences and technology communities.
