David Grace has an active practice involving international trade and customs law matters and related litigation. He has extensive experience in the representation of petitioners and respondents in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations and has participated in several Section 201 "escape clause" proceedings. He has also provided client counseling with respect to potential and ongoing actions under Section 337 of the Tariff Act and Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974. In addition to appearing before the Commerce Department, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the U.S. Trade Representative, Mr. Grace has participated in a variety of cases before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Mr. Grace has also represented a number of clients before the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection in connection with classification, valuation, and country-of-origin marking issues. During the past few years, he has assisted several clients, which have been subject to Focused Assessment Reviews by the Customs.
In addition to his active U.S. practice, Mr. Grace has also represented private and governmental clients involved in dispute-settlement proceedings arising under the World Trade Organization's Dispute Settlement Understanding.

- Representing major U.S. customers of wire rod in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings.
- Representing a Chinese manufacturer of wooden bedroom furniture in an antidumping proceeding.
- Representing a major retailer in a customs criminal investigation and Section 592 penalty proceeding with respect to the posting of antidumping cash deposits.
- Representing a Fortune 100 company in a multi-million dollar dispute with the customs authority in a foreign country with respect to the proper valuation of U.S. goods exported to that country.
- Advising a Fortune 50 company with respect to the proper classification of personal care products.
