Christian Neira’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, with special emphasis on private equity transactions in the United States and cross-border and joint venture transactions in Latin America.  Earlier in his career, he was a litigator, representing clients in cross-border arbitrations, as well as corporate investigations.

Representative Matters

  • Representation of the British United Provident Association in connection with its acquisition of Health Dialog Services Corporation, a leading health care management company, in transaction valued at $775 million.
  • Representation of Fairfield & Sons, Ltd., a language learning software publisher, in connection with its management buyout by Norwest Equity Partners and ABS Capital Partners.
  • Representation of The Chart Group, L.P., a private-equity group, in connection with its organization of Chart Venture Partners, L.P., a private-equity fund that will invest in technologies developed by the U.S. Army.
  • Representation of British United Provident Association in connection with its acquisition of the Amedex Insurance Group, a Florida-based provider of health insurance products to customers throughout located in Latin America.
  • Representation of AIG GE Capital Latin American Infrastructure Fund in connection with its participation as a selling shareholder in the initial public offering in Mexico and Rule 144A placement of securities in the United States by Axtel, S.A., a leading telecommunications company in Mexico.
