Caitlyn Jacobs is a tax associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office. Ms. Jacobs advises clients on a variety of domestic and international tax issues in both the planning and controversy contexts.
Representative Matters
- Advising corporations on controversy matters relating to, among others, foreign tax credits, the domestic production deduction, transfer pricing, worthless stock and bad debt deductions, methods of accounting, and the deductibility of certain bonus payments.
- Advising multinational companies regarding the application of subpart F to income from offshore leasing and financing activities.
- Advising clients regarding the application of tax treaties to certain cross-border payments.
- Advising clients regarding the creditability of foreign taxes.
