Education & Training
Covington’s commitment to educating and training new lawyers begins with the summer program. Summer associates participate in our intensive, hands-on deposition and negotiation skills training programs. Summer associates also attend luncheons that focus on various aspects of the firm’s management, practice groups, pro bono work, and such practical issues as achieving a healthy work/life balance. And our lawyers often bring summer associates to court proceedings, oral arguments, depositions, closings, congressional hearings, and client meetings to permit our summer associates to observe Covington lawyers in action.
