Assignments & Mentoring
Two associates each summer act as coordinators for all work assignments and meet with summer associates individually to plan assignments and match projects to their particular interests. Every summer associate is assigned one partner and two associate mentors, who monitor work assignments and provide insight into life at Covington New York.
We pride ourselves on providing summer associates with constructive feedback on their work throughout the summer. In addition to informal evaluation and discussion of projects with individual lawyers, each summer associate receives more formal and comprehensive mid-summer and end-of-summer reviews.
